Answer
The New Decade, New Approach Deal outlines in paragraphs 3.9 and 3.9 proposed arrangements for future structured civic engagement, including the role of Compact Civic Advisory Panel in recommending appropriate models of engagement on specific issues, including a Citizens’ Assembly. We will be considering the potential and opportunities of a Citizens’ Assembly as part of the work on implementing ‘New Decade New Approach’ (NDNA). A detailed assessment on NDNA commitments is currently underway within our Department.
