To ask the Minister of Education to define the criteria he will be asking applicants to demonstrate to prove the required appropriate (i) experience; (ii) skills and (iii) personal qualities for the role of chair and panel members for the Independent Review of Education.

My Department is currently working with the Office of the Commissioner for Public Appointment (OCPANI) to finalise arrangements for the recruitment process, expected to commence in January 2021.

A candidate information booklet, appointment plan and other relevant documentation will be published in due course once agreed. This will include detail on the criteria, skills and personal qualities for each of the roles and the process for application.
