Answer
I can advise that following discussions with professional colleagues within the Education Authority (EA) and more recently with the Department for Education (DfE) in England, I have agreed that the EA should purchase a supply of 1,000 CO2 monitors to be utilised by its Maintenance Officers in schools as required.
I have also agreed that the EA should commence the larger scale purchase of CO2 monitors for the wider deployment to all schools. I intend to bid in the October Monitoring for the capital budget to support the purchase of the increased number of mobile CO2 monitors to support a broader roll-out to schools.
