Answer
My Department did not procure Bryson Care to deliver the Emergency Fuel Payment Scheme.
The Emergency Fuel Payment Scheme was designed and is operated by Bryson Care. Bryson Care has confirmed that its design is based on the recommendations of Consumer Council and Bryson Energy research ‘The Need for a Fuel Bank Scheme in NI, carried out in 2021.
My Department has made a contribution of £2Million to the scheme as grant funding.
