Answer
I am aware that there have been some minor collisions at this location over a number of years and my Department has implemented a number of collision remedial measures including provision of enhanced warning and directional signs, advanced slow road markings and high friction surfacing, all of which combine to enhance driver awareness of and safety on the approaches to this junction.
Although my Department has no current plans to implement further measures at this junction, I have asked my officials to continue to monitor the junction and to implement any further safety measures that are considered appropriate.
