Answer
When the Executive agreed to proceed with the New Decade New Approach (NDNA) commitment to review ALBs; individual Ministers were asked to conduct the assessment of their respective ALBs and determine how best they should be rationalised and governed.
The Northen Ireland Housing Executive’s (NIHE) was already in the midst of a long-term review of the delivery of social housing so it was agreed that the organisation would not be encompassed within an overall DfC Review as well.
