Answer
Both phases of the JobStart Scheme were subject to a rigorous evaluation and value for money exercise, including the development and subsequent approval of separate economic appraisals by the Department of Finance.
A Post Evaluation Review of JobStart Phase 1 was conducted in July 2023, it concluded that the scheme fully achieved its objectives and performance against planned costs.
The JobStart Phase 2 evaluation review is planned for completion at scheme close (end of March 2025).
