Answer
The issue of pension statements for Members is a matter for the Assembly Members Pension Scheme Trustees. However, the Assembly Commission is aware that this matter was discussed by the Trustees at their meeting on 1 May 2024. Work to produce statements up to and including 31 March 2024 is underway, and they should be ready for distribution in 10-12 weeks.
The pension statements for MLA staff is a matter for each of the appropriate pension schemes and not a matter for the Assembly Commission. Staff should contact their pension providers if they have queries regarding their schemes or associated benefits.
Once these current statements are issued, annual statements will once again be issued to MLAs going forward.
