Answer
Any removal of the stated exemption would raise around £2M in revenue, shared between the Executive and District Councils.
No decision has been taken on the removal of this measure.
As a general rule, any revenue savings from rating support that is removed would be a matter for the Executive to decide in line with budgetary processes.
