AQW 24190/22-27 Written question to the Minister of Health
To ask the Minister of Health to detail how toileting across the health service will be inclusive if single sex-only provision is maintained in hospitals and other facilities, given that most carers have to help the person they care for, who may be of the opposite sex, with toileting needs especially when attending health appointments.

Answer
All HSC Trusts provide accessible toilets across its facilities and these are gender neutral. They facilitate access for disabled people (both visible and invisible), those with long term conditions or those who require support from a carer (regardless of their sex).
