Answer
This issue is an operational matter for Sport NI, which will be responsible for delivering the Olympic Legacy Fund on behalf of my Department.
I have sought the requested information from the Chief Executive, who has advised me as follows:
“Not-for-profit organisations applying to the Olympic Legacy Fund must use Crowdfunder UK to raise 100% of project costs. Subject to a project meeting the conditions of award, Sport NI will pledge 65% of project costs to an applicant’s crowd funding campaign. The remaining 35% must be raised through pledges from the applicant’s ‘crowd’ (or community).”
