AQW 41570/22-27 Written question to the Minister for Communities
To ask the Minister for Communities whether he will provide a copy of any evidence collected from environmental health inspections carried out in the eleven local council areas, that was considered by his Department in advance of the Decent Homes Standard consultation, which confirms the prevalence of damp and mould in tenancies.

My Department did not collect evidence from environmental health inspectors. Officials considered data obtained through the Northern Ireland Housing Condition Survey, which is a comprehensive assessment of the condition of all properties, not solely those which have been referred for inspection.
